Talcing
Equipment for electrostatic and pneumatic application of powdered materials (powder and talc) from the German company Rolf Schlicht enables the use of a wide range of materials, including talc, graphite, stearates, swelling powder, organic powder, coloured powder, and others, in the production of cables, conductors, pipes, hoses, profiles, and tapes for the cable, rubber, and plastics industries.
Rolf Schlicht talcing units are capable of meeting a wide variety of production process requirements. They can apply powder to cables with diameters of up to 200 mm and tapes or profiles up to 200 mm wide. They feature powder flow control and micro-fine dosing.
Thanks to systems with 4 powder guns or 4 pneumatic nozzles, they can achieve high production speeds of up to 2,000 m/min. All of this contributes to a significant reduction in electrical energy losses, a completely clean working environment, reduced wear of components, and therefore lower maintenance and servicing costs.
Powder application is controlled to ensure even distribution across the cable surface, automatic adjustment of powder quantity and flow according to line speed, and therefore controlled powder adhesion strength on the product.
