Thermal Inkjet Printers (TIJ)
Thermal Inkjet Printers (TIJ) are ideal for applications where high print quality and resolution are a priority, combined with simple operation. Thanks to the use of a solution based on standard HP cartridges, exceptional reliability is achieved, while reducing production downtime that can be caused by marking equipment operation.
Due to their reliability, ease of use, and simple maintenance, thermal inkjet printers are widely used in industries where maintaining high production capacity is a priority, such as tobacco, pharmaceutical, graphic, and other industries.
The use of the HP45A cartridge with a capacity of 42 ml provides a clean working environment around the printer for the user.
Traceability in production
(Track and Trace)
Thermal inkjet printers are an ideal solution for full product traceability and aggregation applications. High print resolution of up to 600 DPI enables high-quality printing of various types of 1D and 2D codes, as well as a reading success rate of over 99%.
With the introduction of revolutionary inks in MEK-compatible cartridges, high-resolution printing has been enabled on a range of non-porous substrates, including metallized films, foils, plastics, and other surfaces. This allows machine-readable codes, logos, and other alphanumeric messages to be printed on product pouches.
Applications include blister packaging, plastic and metal caps, as well as glass and plastic jars, where these printers can be successfully applied. With the use of up to 6 printheads, these printers can produce messages up to 76 mm in height in high resolution, making this type of printing a viable replacement for pre-printed packaging in certain applications.
