Filling Machines

In cooperation with Albertina Machinery, a renowned Czech manufacturer of process equipment, Trim offers complete lines for filling, closing, and packaging liquid and paste-like products, adapted to the requirements of the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and chemical industries. The solutions include individual machines as well as fully integrated lines, designed in accordance with production capacities and hygienic standards.

Filling Machines
The range includes linear filling machines based on different dosing principles.

Flow meter-based filling machines, Apollo FM linear fillers, are used in the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and petrochemical industries when high dosing accuracy and batch repeatability are required. These filling machines are very easy to clean using CIP/SIP technology.

Mass flow meters eliminate the effect of temperature, making it possible to achieve the same filling accuracy at different temperatures. The maximum capacity of these filling machines is up to 8,000 bottles/h.

For filling food products, Apollo LP fillers have been developed using specially designed lobe pumps. They are easy to clean using a CIP system and can therefore be used in hygienically demanding applications such as filling ketchup and mayonnaise, preservative-free fruit juice concentrates, dairy products, and similar items. The advantage of these pumps is that they can also dose pieces of fruit and vegetables without damaging the product structure. The capacities of these filling machines range from 1,000 to 5,000 bottles/h for single-line systems, and up to 8,000 bottles/h for dual-line configurations.

The XL3 series of filling machines with lobe pumps is designed for filling larger volumes, such as 20 to 30 litre canisters.

Monoblock Filling and Closing Machines
For applications with limited space, compact monoblock filling and closing machines are available, ideal for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.

Tubeline monoblock machines enable the filling and sealing of plastic and metal tubes. They are used for packaging cosmetic and pharmaceutical products such as creams, ointments, and toothpaste, as well as food products such as ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, and cream cheese.

Closing Machines
Closing machines, also known as capping machines, are available in inline and rotary versions, depending on the required capacity and packaging type.

Capping machines can have a stationary or dynamic head for screwing caps onto containers. Capacities range from 1,500 bottles/h with a stationary capper to 3,000 bottles/h with the dynamic version, where the capping head moves together with the container.

For higher capacities, rotary capping machines are used, with one to a maximum of four capping heads. Rotary cappers are primarily designed for smaller products or packaging with small threads and can be used for different types of containers.

Types of closures: screw caps, press-on caps, or twist-off closures. The maximum output for a rotary capper with one head is 2,600 bottles/h, while a four-head machine can reach up to 6,000 bottles/h.
