Thermal Transfer Printer for Marking on Flexible Packaging
The Videojet 6230 is a low-speed thermal transfer printer that uses advanced technology to reduce coding errors on flexible packaging and improve total cost of ownership (TCO). It enables high-quality code printing at speeds of up to 150 packs per minute (ppm) and is an ideal solution for users moving from analogue equipment, such as hot stamp and roller coders, to digital solutions. The 6230 industrial thermal transfer printer is easy to use and equipped with an intuitive colour touchscreen. Its simple cassette design supports ribbons up to 700 m in length, enabling longer production runs, as well as safer and easier ribbon replacement with minimal impact on production. The ribbon loading mechanism allows fast changeovers and more efficient operation.
The Code Assurance function is available as standard on the 6230 printer when using templates created in CLARiSOFT™ or VideojetConnect Design software. These simple print design tools reduce the need for operator intervention, resulting in fewer user errors, as well as reduced unnecessary waste and product rework.
